  • Children, adults, and families of all backgrounds are welcome to reach out. Kilgallon Speech currently offers in-home and virtual speech therapy services, with plans to transition to primarily in-clinic services in the future.

    Kilgallon Speech provides timely, reliable, and person- and family-centered speech-language evaluations. Individualized therapy is at the core of the practice, with a focus on making sessions engaging, meaningful, and relevant to everyday life. Kris works collaboratively with clients and families to build practical communication skills that support daily living, social connection, and greater independence.

  • Getting started is simple:

    After your evaluation, we’ll discuss reccomendations and create a personalized plan together.

  • At Kilgallon Speech, services are available for children, adults, and families, with minimal wait times so you can get started when you’re ready. As a solo provider practice, care is focused on getting to know each person and what matters most in daily life. Therapy is collaborative and flexible, with goals shaped around your preferences, culture, and routines. The focus is on building a respectful relationship and providing steady, supportive care that feels practical and comfortable.

  • Session fees depend on the length and type of service:

    • 30-minute therapy session: $70.00

    • 45-minute therapy session: $100.00

    • 60-minute therapy session: $140.00

    • Comprehensive speech/language evaluation: $200.00

    • Comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing/feeding evaluation: $250.00

    Most speech therapy sessions are 30–45 minutes. I’ll work with you to choose the session length and schedule that best fits your needs.

    Payment is due at the time of service. For convenience, a card can be securely kept on file and charged after each session.

  • Speech therapy should feel engaging, personal, and purposeful. It should feel like teamwork—and that is what Kilgallon Speech aims to provide.

    Communication helps us express our wants and needs, but it is also how we connect with others, build relationships, and share meaningful moments in everyday life. From the very first session, my goal is for you to feel like an active part of the process and confident in defining what progress looks like for you, your child, or your family.

    My role is to support you by providing the knowledge, tools, and guidance needed to make meaningful progress and build greater independence over time.

  • Currently, I offer:

    • In-home sessions

    • Virtual therapy sessions

    We’ll choose the option that best fits yours or your child and family’s needs and schedule.

    In the future, transitioning to primarily in-clinic services is the goal.

  • This depends on individual needs. Most adult clients or children are seen 1–2 times per week to support consistent progress.

  • An evaluation includes a combination of:

    • Standardized assessments

    • Informal observation

    • Your input, family member input, or parent input (as applicable)

    You’ll receive feedback and recommendations following the evaluation, which evaluation reports are delivered to you no later than two-weeks after the evaluation appointment date.

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

    Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee.

  • Yes! I provide evaluation and therapy for adults with a range of communication needs, including cognitive-lingusitc, social-pragmatic, voice, fluency, and swallowing/feeding needs.

    Adult services may include support for:

    • Swallowing and feeding concerns

    • Cognition and language

    • Stuttering

    • Speech and language changes after stroke or traumatic brain injury

    • Gender-affirming voice care

    • Accent training via culturally and linguistically affirming practice

    • Communication-related environmental modifications, family education, and support for loved ones living with major neurogenerative disorder (dementia).

    Services are individualized based on your goals, needs, and communication priorities.

  • Currently, Kilgallon Speech is open from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Monday through Saturday.

  • Kilgallon Speech is currently in network with Michigan Medicaid and Medicare.

    Also, Kilgallon Speech is currently in the process of enrolling to be in network with Aetna, Priority Health, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Updates will be posted here and through the client portal as new information becomes available.
